Gabri and Petr, together with their partners in the GRACE GACR-FWF project (Adam T. Clark, Franz Essl and others) have a new paper in Science Advances. Also, many thanks to Milan Chytry, Irena Axmanova, and others from Masaryk University, and to all of the many co-authors!

It’s a huge synthesis based on >600,000 vegetation plots across Europe, sampled over the past 60 years, and a follow-up on our paper in Ecology Letters from last year. The most important result is a clear shift of plant communities towards nutrient rich and denser vegetation. Another major result is that wetlands have been getting drier.
